Oak and Via Roccolino ---

Via del Roccolino is marked by an ancient oak tree, the "queen of forests" that predates the city's formation. This rare plant in urban spaces is easily recognizable by its lobed leaves and acorns borne on long stalks. The street, whose name recalls the former presence of a bird trap, leads toward the beautiful Valverde district, at the base of the Città Alta.
