Protestant Cultural Center of Bergamo ---

The Protestant Cultural Center is located on via Tasso, Bergamo Bassa, not far from the Palazzo della Provincia, and is managed by the Fondazione Centro Culturale Valdese. The location is no coincidence: during the Renaissance, the neighborhood that developed around the street had the highest concentration of Protestant Swiss citizens in the city. Many of the buildings that still adorn it today were commissioned by those families, who had become wealthy through trade. The Center is located inside number 55. After passing through the entrance portal, you continue through the portico to the internal courtyard enclosed by the walls of the ancient Palazzo degli Zavaritt and columns with round arches to find the entrance on the right. Inside the building is also housed the Biblioteca Girolamo Zan.
