
Girolamo Zanchi Library ---
Inaugurated on May 22, 1998, the library has been housed since 2018 in the premises of the Centro Culturale Protestante, in a historic palazzo on via Tasso that, during the Renaissance, was the city district with the highest concentration of Waldensians. The library's collection is naturally specialized; it contains 5,000 volumes from a period between 1700 and the contemporary age, all of a Protestant character and culture. The sectors are among the most varied: from history to biblical exegesis, from theology to literature, from philosophy to politics, from ethics to law to education. The heart of the collection consists of books from the Evangelical Christian Community of Bergamo.
