The entrance of the Teatro Sociale has no porticoes or colonnades because the narrowness of the street it faces does not allow for imposing structures, but the result is equally surprising: once you cross the threshold, you will enter a magical, elegant yet welcoming environment, warmed by the wood of the railings and ceiling beams. The vertical development of the boxes, arranged on three levels and topped by a fourth gallery, visually represents the hierarchies that existed between the aristocratic classes of the time. This structure was expressly requested from designer Leonardo Pollack by the group of nobles financing the work, almost as if to crystallize and emphasize the class distinctions of the era.
