Nonna Betta's Shop ---
It all began with a mother who, in the Seventies, would have her skirts shortened or lengthened, depending on the season, to keep up with fashion. Thus, Elisabetta Vedovi, even though she didn't know it, was educating her daughters in the sense of beauty. "Beauty is learned through osmosis," Sabrina Tosini tells us, the one of the two daughters who today manages "La Bottega di Nonna Betta" on via Colleoni in Città Alta, and whom we met together with the Urban Commerce District. "She was a great mother," she continues, "and would have been a great grandmother too." Elisabetta never knew her grandchildren, but since 2004, thanks to the opening of the shop, she is somewhat the grandmother of everyone. Initially "Nonna Betta" made few items on request and received customers only by appointment.
