Bergamasca IGT Rosato ---
Bergamo wine production is not limited to Protected Designations of Origin, but also includes a Protected Geographical Indication: Bergamasca. Specifically, vineyard rows extend for approximately seventy kilometers from the Adda river to Lake Iseo, as well as in hilly areas such as the Cavallina valley, the lower Camonica valley from Lovere to Rogno, the western shore of Lake Iseo, the Seriana valley and the Brembana Valley, all of which are naturally Bergamo territories. Bergamasca IGT rosato wine must be composed of at least 85% of grape varieties authorized for the province of Bergamo, and the production specifications regulate its various production phases including a minimum alcohol content of 10°. This wine's color is cerasuolo, and suggested pairings are pasta or mild cheeses
