
Parco del Fiume Serio ---
The lower course of the Serio river is surrounded by a park of more than 7000 hectares that hosts, in addition to several nature reserves, important architectural attractions. Nature and culture together, all waiting to be discovered. A nature reserve since 1973 and a regional park since 1985, it embraces various natural environments, including agricultural areas, wetlands, meadows and small woodlands as well as numerous springs. Within it are buildings of great architectural interest, such as the places of the Colleoni, with the castles he inhabited in Urgnano, Malpaga, Cavernago and Romano di Lombardia.
