
Palazzo Polli Stoppani ---
Palazzo Polli Stoppani was built around 1500 based on a design by Pietro Isabello, and was restructured in the 1700s. It was later purchased by Vittorio Polli in 1960 as a family residence. In 1962, following a project by Architect Sandro Angelini, it underwent restoration work that enhanced its unique characteristics, such as being built directly on the rock of Città Alta, while making it habitable in the state it remained until the owners' passing. In 2009, Mrs. Anna Maria Stoppani established that the building be used as the headquarters of the Polli Stoppani Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting individuals (with particular attention to the elderly, women, children and families in difficult circumstances) as well as promoting culture, both
