"Bergamo Walls" Museum ---

Inaugurated in September 2024, the new "Bergamo Walls" Museum occupies the rooms on the upper floor of Porta Sant'Agostino, still today one of the main entrances to Città Alta. The museum is part of the circuit of the Museum of Bergamo's Stories and represents a fundamental step in enhancing the Venetian Walls, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2017. Through numerous historical testimonies and multimedia points, the exhibition path will show you the stages of the fortress's creation, from planning to actual construction, accompanying you on a journey through time made even more moving by the fact that you will find yourself in the heart of that very same fortress. The focal point of the exhibition is the immersive room where the history of the Walls is told through the voices of its protagonists. All in
