The Restaurant takes its name from the Dahlak archipelago, an island group in Eritrea, a jewel of the Red Sea. Driven by love for their homeland, in 1996 the owners began to offer traditional Eritrean cuisine during popular festivals. Ten years later, in 2006, the ethnic gastronomy Dahlak was born in the historic Borgo Palazzo, transformed into a proper restaurant in 2014. Throughout all these years the family that manages it has worked with passion to transform every lunch and dinner into a connection between food and culture; a passion that guides them still today and that will bring all the flavors of Eritrea to your table.
