CANTINA VAL SAN MARTINO ---

Cantina Val San Martino currently has 30 active members and was the first winery established in the entire province of Bergamo. Here, the vineyards are spread across the territories of Almenno, Pontida, Palazzago, Mapello, Scanzo, Sotto Il Monte XXIII. Founded in 1957, it is dedicated primarily to: Merlot, Cabernet, Incrocio Manzoni and Chardonnay. The winery's historic label, in addition to Valcalepio rosso and IGT San Martino, is "Il Giuramento"; while the latest addition is the "Blanc de Blancs", obtained by vinifying pure Chardonnay using the Charmat method, as the winery equipped itself with an autoclave to work independently. An absolute novelty and exclusive preview, scheduled for the end of 2021, is an important red wine obtained from Merlot vineyards over 25 years old.
