At Predore, on Lake Iseo, 5 km from Sarnico and 35 from Bergamo, you can visit the baths of the Villa dei Noni, an ancient Roman villa. The building, spread over an area of approximately 15,000 square meters, extended in a north-south direction from the foot of the mountain to the lake shore, and the villa, inhabited from the 1st century B.C. to the 4th century A.D. by the family of consul and senator Marco Nonio Arrio Muciano, is known for its thermal complex (built between the 2nd and 3rd centuries). Today you can visit the bath area and, after the informational panels, an antiquarium has been created that allows you to overlook the remains and follow the route that traces the development of the baths.
