Piatti Hall ---
The hall, located in Città Alta, is named after the internationally renowned Bergamo cellist Alfredo Piatti. When you enter, look up immediately: the ceiling is richly decorated, with a gilded frame embellished by putti and cornices and featuring a fresco with dancing figures at its center. Over time, this hall has hosted performances by illustrious musicians, such as Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli, Uto Ughi, and Salvatore Accardo, to name just a few. Following a closure that lasted from 1998 to 2003 for restoration, it was returned to the city more beautiful than ever and continues to play a fundamental role in the national and international concert scene: moreover, every year in November, it hosts the Alfredo Piatti International Cello Festival.
