Rifugio Olmo ---

Built on the structure of the old Malga Olone, the Rino Olmo refuge is located at an altitude of 1819m on the south-west slope of Presolana. Positioned in a grassy basin below Passo Olone and Pozzera, Olmo is easily reached from the town center of Rusio in two and a half hours of walking. You can also depart from the Spinelli locality in Valzurio and after 3 hours of walking you reach the refuge. For cycling enthusiasts, it is recommended to climb to the refuge starting from Castione della Presolana. Those who pass through this refuge aim to climb to the summit of Presolana or make its circuit: from here you descend into Valzurio, then you reach Rifugio Albani to tackle the via ferrata of Passo della Porta, and on the south side you climb Passo di Pozzera and Passo degli Agnelli before returning.
