Balicco Refuge ---

Silvia and Luca manage Rifugio Balicco, at an altitude of 1963m, within the Foresta regionale Azzaredo Casù. It is a refuge with an oriental atmosphere. It almost feels like being in Tibet: outside, alongside the prayer flags dear to mountaineers, the Tibetan flag with Buddhist symbols waves in the wind. The house specialty is Dahl, a typical Nepalese dish revisited in Bergamese style: it is a vegan lentil soup, spiced with curry, turmeric and ginger and accompanied by the inevitable polenta. Orient aside, there are as many as five ravioli variations served to guests.
