Marziali e Farneti is, for many of us, a name, a historic brand present in several optical shops in Bergamo and the surrounding province. Together with the Urban Commerce District, we met Romano Marziali and Bruno Farneti, the owners of the business, to learn more about the history of their shop. A history that speaks first and foremost of a deep friendship, which began in Switzerland in the Nineteen Fifties. Once again, then, a business that was born from a bond, that of two young men who became brothers-in-law and above all great friends. As a child, Romano began his apprenticeship with optician Isnenghi, fascinated by the mechanics of the grinding wheels, initially taking care of filling the water container (used for cooling them) and emptying the one with the scrap
