Crossing the street at the height of the newsstand on Borgo Palazzo, you are enveloped by a scent as unusual as it is intense: it is the Genovese pesto of Andrea Caprile, born in 1974. Together with the Urban Commerce District, we met Andrea to learn about the history of his business. From a surveyor with Ligurian DNA, raised in Martinengo and in love with the sea and his roots, "Il Pastificio del Borgo" was born twenty-three years ago, offering fresh pasta produced daily and sauces and gravies that are the result of good influences from at least three lands: that of Liguria, that of Emilia, and that of Bergamo belonging to Andrea, born in Genoa and raised in Orobica territory.
