The origins of the well-known thermal spa center of Trescore Balneario, located in Val Cavallina, an important connection between Bergamo and Lake Iseo, are certainly ancient. It was probably the Romans who discovered and took advantage of the therapeutic properties of the sulfurous waters that flowed in the heart of the valley.
