The gorges of Lake Iseo ---

Along the coastal road of Lake Iseo, in the stretch between Riva di Solto and Castro, there is the spectacular sight of the gorges: imposing rocks arranged in vertical slabs rising sheer above the water, one of the lake's most valuable natural wonders. Here, also of great naturalistic interest is the locality Pigone, one of the rare breeding grounds of the common toad.
