Romano Bellini purchased his first vintage Riva at the age of 16: it was a 1953 Riva Sebino. The purchase was made purely out of passion, at a time when mahogany Riva boats had no economic value. A few years later, he acquired a first series 1956 Riva Ariston. Over time, throughout 40 years, he began to acquire special Riva boats. Other boats in the collection were purchased in poor condition, then restored and sold, but upon completion of the restoration, the boats were so appealing that Romano Bellini decided to keep them.
