Church of Madonna della Mercede ---

Located in Bondo di Colzate, the Chiesa di Barbata is dedicated to Madonna della Mercede and dates back to the sixteenth century, built by the Trinitarians of Mercede. It is positioned in a panoramic location and from the small and beautiful churchyard one can admire several peaks of the Prealpi Orobiche and Valle del Riso. The current bell tower dates to 1500 while the small church, built on a previous chapel, was constructed in 1571, a date engraved on the arched stone portal.
