Located at the intersection between the piazzale della stazione and the current viale Papa Giovanni XXIII, where the railway had arrived only a few decades earlier and the long avenue had just been opened, Casa Paleni stood at the center of a rapidly developing area. This modernity is also evident in the reference to the international style of decoration, combined with the personal touch given by the architect, Virginio Muzio, and the client family.
