Fantoni House Museum ---
The idea of collecting the immense artistic heritage of the Fantoni family came to the last descendant of the family, who in 1968 brought together documents, works, and sketches in the family's ancient workshop-house in Rovetta. Andrea Fantoni, an inlayer who lived between the 17th and 18th centuries, is certainly the most famous member of the family; yet other family members were notable artists as well: primarily inlayers, but also writers and printers. Among the artifacts displayed in the House Museum, you will see many sacred furnishings and devotional images, sketches and models of works, as well as portraits and documents of various kinds, such as account books, letters, and contracts.
