Together with the Urban Commerce District, we met Carlo, owner of Carom Abbigliamento, to learn the story of the business he founded with his brother. Carlo greets us with a slight smile and shakes my hand firmly. "Thank you" are his first words. Every Wednesday he goes to the barber for a haircut, his beard impeccably shaved. He doesn't wear a tie – his daughters Maria Grazia and Monica gently scold him and quickly hand him a Regimental tie that Carlo knots with the assured gesture of someone who has devoted his entire life to attention to beauty in its smallest details. You have to read between the lines, dig through the anecdotes to reveal the greatness of this man. Because Carlo says little about himself, perhaps out of modesty or weariness.
