Cappella dell'Annunciata ---
Located in Cerete Alto and overlooking Piazza Martiri della Libertà, the Cappella dell'Annunciata preserves one of the most evocative fresco cycles of Bergamo's early 16th-century culture. Commissioned by Giovanni Marinoni fu Federighino, who left instructions in his will, it was built between 1503 and 1512 as an extension of the old parish church and served as the family's private chapel. The coat of arms of the Marinoni family, composed of white and red bands topped by a rooster holding a flower, is still visible on the façade. The chapel consists of two distinct but interconnected spaces, both covered with cross vaults: the sacristy and the main hall where three sepulchers are found (for the men, women and children of the Marinoni family), a direct extension of the church
