At 1568 m above sea level, the Baita Cassinelli refuge is located about 1 hour's walk from Passo della Presolana. Beautiful and majestic, the Presolana rises behind the refuge, a mountain of dolomitic rock. All around it lies the park of the Orobie bergamasche, 70,000 hectares of unspoiled green landscape. The baita accommodates up to 70 people in two adjoining dining rooms and has 13 beds for those who wish to stay for several days in this corner of tranquility immersed in nature. A stop at the baita is a must: whether for a snack, whether for lunch or dinner based on typical Bergamasque and Lombard dishes, or simply to admire a unique 360-degree natural panorama.
